sleep! sleep in peace! this is an eternal sleep I’m bestowing upon you, O earth!

I just can choose not to plant your trees anymore; I just can choose not to lay your rivers anymore. thus peace will be upon you. then I shall keep all the life to myself.

then… will you venture to devour me anymore? or… will you venture to rotten me anymore?
