the tree earth

my mother was a tree, sat on her roots, pushed me – the earth – out of those roots. I remember being soaked in the amniotic fluid; as I still am. and I still am coming out; as the roots haven’t yet let me go away…

I’m that blissful child who were never fully born. I’m that blissful child whose birth was unfinished…

I remained, this way, forever between my mother’s legs.
