Mark Twain

Mark Twain was the pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835–1910), an American writer, humorist, lecturer, and former Mississippi riverboat pilot. His fiction brought vernacular speech and sharp social criticism into American literature, most famously in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
