Confucius
Confucius (traditionally 551–479 BCE) was a Chinese teacher, philosopher, and political thinker whose ideas profoundly shaped East Asian ethics and education. He emphasized humane conduct, learning, ritual, and responsible relationships; sayings and conversations associated with him were gathered by later followers in the Analects.
